Not only do we just find creating a beautifully presented concept an absolute pleasure to produce, it is essential to communicating the design clearly. When this happens, the client is totally on board and it makes it incredibly easy to turn those ideas into a reality. And that my friends, is what this business is all about.

Lauren talks you through a complete interior design concept and reveals the software used, the areas of expertise that are out-sourced and real-life anectodes.

WHAT YOU LEARN

  • How to listen to your client to get the details you need to create a design response tailored to their lifestyle, and one that they will LOVE.

  • Why the ‘show me’ technique is better than the ‘trust me’ way to sell your design concept to the client.

  • What exactly to present for the first design concept presentation covering visuals, reference images, 3D renders, floorplans, material samples and furniture samples.

  • Let your passion for design show, and other ways to get your client excited about your design.

  • Understand what your client really needs from you. Are they looking to have the most gorgeous house to the envy of the neighbours, are they time-poor, maybe they have finally found their ‘forever home’ and are daunted on how to furnish it? Then you can give them what they really need from a designer.

  • How to approach the budget in your presentation.

  • How to pull the design concept together and ‘walk through’ the project with the client.

Please Note: This event requires a minimum of 6 attendees to run. If we do not meet this minimum amount, the event will not run and all paid ticket holders at that point will be fully refunded.

What I need bring into the event?
Working digitally is essential to this course.

  1. A lap-top, charger cords if you want to take notes this way

  2. Note pad, you will want to take lots of notes. No notes for this session are provided.

What's the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable. Please double, triple check your dates and make arrangements prior to purchasing tickets. Names on tickets are transferable up to 7 days prior to the event. Please contact us via email studio@sisalla.com.au for assistance.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Not to worry, we can tick off your name.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We are located near the Prahran Market where there is a carpark you can park for the day, check their fees.  The Chapel Street tram comes past, we are near the Commercial Road intersection.  Walking distance to Prahran or Hawksburn Station. Advice not to park on the streets nearby as parking inspectors are everywhere!
