Learn top tips to create beautiful visuals that your client will find appealing and illustrate your design perfectly. When your client can visualise your design intent, they understand and they’re totally on board. Use visuals rather then words and things flow easily from there.

This session focuses on creating beautiful floorplans and elevations using textures, lighting and shadows in Photoshop. Then we use Indesign to create professional presentations. Ideal for impressive client presentations.

A few useful tips are demonstrated in this session, with the small group of six allowing for each student having hands-on time with Lauren. Ideal for those wanting a refresher course or total beginners, this brings it back to basics.

WE LEARN

  • How to navigate the photoshop and indesign interface

  • The top tools specific for interior design

  • What’s the deal with layers anyway?

  • How to manipulate an image, such as changing the colour of a chair

  • How to import images into Indesign

  • Using text and lines in Indesign to support your design presentation.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

  • A file template including a floor plan and textures to work

  • Access to the Sessions Facebook group where you can connect with like-minded design community and ask me anything.

  • A delicious Ladro pizza lunch (please advise of dietary requirements), wine (let’s get creative!), and complementary tea and refreshments from our apartment kitchen.

Please Note: This event requires a minimum of 6 attendees to run. If we do not meet this minimum amount, the event will not run and all paid ticket holders at that point will be fully refunded.

What I need bring into the event?
Working digitally is essential to this course.

  1. A lap-top, charger cords.

  2. Note pad, you will want to take lots of notes.

  3. Please pre-install Photoshop and Indesign software prior to session. Please contact me prior session if you need assistance.

What's the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable. Please double, triple check your dates and make arrangements prior to purchasing tickets. Names on tickets are transferable up to 7 days prior to the event. Please contact us via email studio@sisalla.com.au for assistance.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Not to worry, we can tick off your name.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We are located near the Prahran Market where there is a carpark you can park for the day, check their fees.  The Chapel Street tram comes past, we are near the Commercial Road intersection.  Walking distance to Prahran or Hawksburn Station. Advice not to park on the streets nearby as parking inspectors are everywhere!
